Text Box: ARTICLE I  -  KNOWN AS             This organization shall be known as “MARBLEHOLICS ANONYMOUS"             The Club For Marble Addicts  ARTICLE II  -  PURPOSE            1.  Marbleholics Anonymous will be an organization dedicated to those interested in marbles, marble related items, marble history and all of those that wish to be a part of   preserving the world of marbles and its related items.            2.  Marbleholics Anonymous, its officers and members will work in harmony with   ALL members of the marble community in the attempt to preserve marble collecting,   marble history and to grow the collecting community.            3.  Marbleholics Anonymous will publish a quarterly newsletter, MARBLEOUS   TIMES, with free classified ads for all members as well as paid advertising for marble   related companies.  ARTICLE III  -  MEMBERSHIP            1.  Membership in Marbleholics Anonymous will be open to any and all parties who   wish to join and maintain their annual dues as prescribed in these by-laws.            2.  Any member who conducts themselves in such a manner as to bring negative attention to the Club or any conduct that may harm another member of the marble community can and will have their membership revoked.            3.  Any member who knowingly cheats another member of the Club can and will have their membership revoked.  ARTICLE IV  -  OFFICERS Until such a time as the club grows to such a point that more officers or a larger board   is needed, all officers will be assigned by the President.  At this time, all Officers have   been appointed by the President.  Once the club is fully functional with several members in place, a new program will be developed that better explains the manner in which new officers will be placed into offices.  These procedures will be done within   the first three months of club launch.  Officers at this time will be:            1.  President-The President will preside over all aspects of the organization including   coordinating functions, over seeing membership and ensuring that all by-laws, policies and rules are being adhered to.            2. Vice President-The Vice President will be responsible for promoting membership, t  he club and any and all functions sponsored by the club.  They will also be responsible   for maintaining the by-laws and policies with the President.  The Vice president will   take over the office of President if that seat is vacated for any reason.           3. Secretary-The Secretary shall maintain records of any and all meetings between officers, receiving financial   reports from Treasurer and assisting with all newsletter publications.           4.  Treasurer-The Treasurer will be responsible to ensure that financials are in line and reported to the Secretary on   a quarterly basis.  These financial reports will be published in each quarterly newsletter.  SPECIAL NOTE            1.  The Officers may decide to add other officers, board members or committees to complete tasks needed for the   betterment of the organization.  This may include marketing positions, show organizing positions and so forth.            2.  It is our goal to eventually be able to offer a live marble auction at our annual convention.  For this an auctioneer will be needed.  We will do our best to pull from membership roster for this position, but due to licensing   requirements, may be forced to hire this position out.  This may be amended at a later time to accommodate our findings at that time.            3.  At the present time, the President will be newsletter Editor.  At such time that membership allows some outside   involvement in that task, the responsibilities will be shared.  ARTICLE V  -  MEETINGS            1.  An annual meeting will be held, time determined by the officers in the first meeting, for all members.  This   meeting will include organizational business where all members will have a chance to speak with the officers on   ideas they may have, trading and a meal.  This is not a required meeting for general members.            2.  As the club grows, more meetings will be set up at different levels to accommodate the growth of the club and   membership base.  ARTICLE VI  -  DUES            1.  Club Membership is $25.00.  This amount will provide the member with:   A.  Club Identification Card                       B.  Access to all meetings                       C.  Discount admission to all shows                       D.  Discounted table prices at all shows                       E.  Free classified advertising in all MARBLEOUS TIMES Newsletters                       F.  Club T-Shirt            2.  Annual renewal is $20.00 and will be paid by August 1 of each year.             3.  Chapters (Discussed in ARTICLE VII) who sign up members, after being Sanctioned as a Chapter, will be able to retain some of the annual dues to help provide for functions ran by that Chapter.   ARTICLE VII  -  CHAPTERS            1.  For a Chapter to be established, the requesting party must be a member in good standing and believe that there   are enough collectors in his immediate area to warrant such a Chapter being established.            2.  A party interested in starting a Chapter must apply to the Officers in writing and must be approved by the               Officers before Chapter status will be given.            3.  Chapters will be entitled to a portion of the annual dues that that Chapter generates for use in functions in that   Chapter’s area relating to promoting marble collecting and the marble community as a whole.            4.  The applicant of the Chapter will be the person who maintains all functions of the club at that Chapter level.   CLUB OFFICERS President  -  Del Morgan Email: del@marbleholics.com Vice-President  -  Bill Hardwick Email: rotcusma@marbleholics.com Secretary  -  Julie Morgan Email: mibwife@marbleholics.com Treasurer  -  Steve Cogdill Email: peawee1@marbleholics.com Marbleous Times Editor  -  Del Morgan
