Misc.-Cullet marble from House of Glass Cullet


The cullet was from the L.J. Houze Convex Glass Company of Point
Marion, PA. They are the company that made the cool smoking stands with slag glass inserts.   The cullet was sent to Buddy Bowles, who polished it into this wonderful marble.  Marble also lights up under blacklight as did many glass pieces from this company.

Contemporary Handmade-Del Morgan

I thought it would be fun to make a marble for the charity auction.  This is the fourth marble I ever made and like the rest...it messed up too.  It shows red, white and blue bands with both gold and blue aventurine.  The punty end broke off in the kiln and there is a small fracture.  Unsigned as I am no artist.

Wonderful wooden display box made by our own Buddy (Roany Poany) Bowles.  Box has been hand made by Buddy to depict the highly sought after Peltier Black and Blue.  The pieces were cut out and hand painted and then placed back together to make this display.  Included is a 1" polished lattice core also done by Buddy.  Awesome box Budster.

A wonderful donation of a 1/2 Dinar from Kuwait.  Please disregard face value on the bill and credit it for the great graphics depicting young children playing marbles.  Proving once again that our hobby is world wide for sure.  There are two available.  You are bidding on one.  Dave Kitzman wrote to let me know that the 1/2 Dinar is equal to about $1.75 us.  So as my 13 year old daughter said...."It will only buy you have your "Dinner"..LOL  Thanks Dave and stay safe.

This is a very unusual marble.  This is once again from the American Marble & Toy Company.  This is an identical match to a brown Bennington.  The weird thing about this one is that it has an opalescent sheen to the marble.  I have never seen another one like it.

This is a gorgeous tighline corkscrew that I thought was a Miller Swirl from Peltier when I first opened the box.  Gorgeous tight corking pattern of black on a red base.  The spiral goes around the marble 3 1/2 times.  Marble has overall small ticks and pocket wear.  Views better than grade.
