Awesome marble related item.  This is the now very famous May 10, 1937 Life magazine with the marble shooter on the cover.  I believe this picture has become as famous as "Marble Champ" by Rockwell.  Magazine is showing wear at the folds and some wear around the edges, but is in overall great shape.

Awesome patch that actually looks Akro to me.  However, I have never seen quite like it.  So my only other guess would have to be Vitro.  The muddled colors could actually go either way.  Either way is a great patch.

This is a very pretty and large Joseph's coat swirl.  Beautiful coloring in this wonderful sized swirl.  Most of the damage that is effecting the grade comes in the form of a shallow, but large flake on the back of this marble.  Displays very nicely and what a beautiful size.

Wonderful group of three sulphides from Thom.  Represented are the elephant, rooster and the buffalo.  All three marbles come with a kool smoke colored swirl to ensure that no one can mistake them for vintage and all three are unsigned.

This is a gorgeous marble from Dad's "Captain's Veil" series.  Marble shows an orange and black Tiffany style pattern on the surface with a solid opaque black core that leaves enough room for light to get behind the surface colors and really set this marble off.  Nice piece signed "CaptM03"

This is a great pair of Furnace marbles from Champion.  Traditional pattern and coloring  I could not find anything more that one tiny fracture on one of the marbles.

This is a wonderful onionskin swirl from the Marble Wreck off the Coast of Long Island.  This marble has been hand polished by Larry Castle with the pontil left intact.  Marble showed a small internal fracture after being polished.  Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

I love this Popeye.  Gorgeous auger style hybrid Popeye showing red and green with yellow and wispy white in a clear base.  The yellow is thin but plain as day and the auger matrix is just so incredibly hard to find.  Wonderful and HTF marble with one area of damage only (Pictured).

Awesome size on this unusual two color swirl from CAC.  Marble shows a wonderful swirling of orange and yellow, but also shows a few "Splotches" of what appears to be blue.  Chows a small area with a couple of scratches and a couple of light rub spots.

Another gorgeous "IYR-Buddy Box"  Once again Buddy has made us one of his wonderful marble boxes with "IYR" carved into the top of this wonderfully stained box.  Box holds 12 marbles with two rows of holes for marbles up to 11/16" and one row of holes for marbles up to 3/4".  I was surprised with the first one and this one is just as special.  Wonderful box signed "BB"

Wonderful sulphide from the collection of Gary Stetson.  I have seen many horse sulphides.  This is the first I have ever seen with the horse wearing a saddle.  Above average detail in the figure.  It is up against one side of the marble and the marble shows an overall hazing and light surface wear.  NO major damage.  Wonderful and seemingly HTF marble.

Great pair of Chinas.  Both show three separate colors of intersecting lines with red, green and blue.  The smaller of the two is a single intersecting line while the shooter shows several.  Also, the smaller is unglazed and the shooter is glazed.

GORGEOUS MARBLE!!!!!!  Wonderful split cork double twist Imperial corkscrew.  This marble shows so much pattern to it, that it took me four times to get the right number of twists on it.  Shows some small hits in the way of moons and reflections.  Stunning despite the damage.

This is a gorgeous marble that can not be fully appreciated until it is in your hand.  Not only does it have an awesome pattern that is obvious, but it also has a couple of articles that make it an extraordinary piece.  First, the color that appears to be white is actually mother of pearl and is beautiful.  Secondly, in the yellow it shows what almost appears to be fumed gold.  Almost has true gold effect.  Beautiful marble that is unsigned.

What a great size on this wonderful single pontil end of day cloud.  Marble shows the classic and wonderful blotchy spotted pattern with reds, greens and blues on a white base and is completely cased in clear glass.  This marble shows some heavy damage in one area, with overall light wear over the reminder of the marble.  Could be polished if you chose to do so.  Another piece donated from the Gary Stetson collection that is well worth your bids.
