Awesome marble related item.  This is the now very famous May 10, 1937 Life magazine with the marble shooter on the cover.  I believe this picture has become as famous as "Marble Champ" by Rockwell.  Magazine is showing wear at the folds and some wear around the edges, but is in overall great shape.

This is a very pretty and large Joseph's coat swirl.  Beautiful coloring in this wonderful sized swirl.  Most of the damage that is effecting the grade comes in the form of a shallow, but large flake on the back of this marble.  Displays very nicely and what a beautiful size.

This is a wonderful onionskin swirl from the Marble Wreck off the Coast of Long Island.  This marble has been hand polished by Larry Castle with the pontil left intact.  Marble showed a small internal fracture after being polished.  Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.

Wonderful sulphide from the collection of Gary Stetson.  I have seen many horse sulphides.  This is the first I have ever seen with the horse wearing a saddle.  Above average detail in the figure.  It is up against one side of the marble and the marble shows an overall hazing and light surface wear.  NO major damage.  Wonderful and seemingly HTF marble.

This is a gorgeous marble that can not be fully appreciated until it is in your hand.  Not only does it have an awesome pattern that is obvious, but it also has a couple of articles that make it an extraordinary piece.  First, the color that appears to be white is actually mother of pearl and is beautiful.  Secondly, in the yellow it shows what almost appears to be fumed gold.  Almost has true gold effect.  Beautiful marble that is unsigned.

German Handmade-Single Pontil Cloud

What a great size on this wonderful single pontil end of day cloud.  Marble shows the classic and wonderful blotchy spotted pattern with reds, greens and blues on a white base and is completely cased in clear glass.  This marble shows some heavy damage in one area, with overall light wear over the reminder of the marble.  Could be polished if you chose to do so.  Another piece donated from the Gary Stetson collection that is well worth your bids.
