WOW!  This is more than it appears.  This is a desk calendar from the artist Lonnie Rewa.  This calendar is made up of 12 hand drawn pictured of marbles from various contemporary artists.  Each month is signed by the marble artist who made the marble that was drawn.  Now the donator of this calendar insisted that it be mailed from coast to coast to obtain every signature.  His sole purpose was to get these calendars signed so he could use them to raise money for charity.  An incredible amount of work for him and those who helped him and well worth it.  That is the giving spirit in a nutshell.  Even though he won't like it, I am going to tell you that Bill Hardwick is the one who donated these.  Thanks Bill for the incredible effort you put into this project for our kids.  There are two available.  You are bidding on one.  Please note, there are only four of these calendars with all signatures that will ever be sold.

This was a hard contest for us as we know that everyone puts in a great deal of effort to make their donations count.  However, one person really stood out to us this time around.  Bill Hardwick not only took on a nearly impossible task in getting his calendars signed, but also recruited many others in his efforts.  We feel that his 6 weeks of work to pull this off has to merit an award for incredible effort.  Thanks Bill and hope you enjoy this.
