Akro Agate Company-Mistake

Obviously intended to be a Patriot corkscrew from Akro showing red and pale blue on a white base.  The marble machine went nuts on this one.  Guess you could call it a 20 wrap corkscrew...LOL  Marble shows small pits and pinpricks filled with soil.  Is a dug marble.

Unusual tri-color Ace from AA.  Colors are blue with yellow on a translucent white base.  Corkscrew starts out fine and then gets half way around the marble and jets back up towards the original line, almost touching.  Views better in hand.  Shows some small ticks and moons.

This had to be made by MK, but what it is I have no clue.  The first thing that came to mind for me was a Berry Pink.  Same kind of make up.  Colors on this one are an orange and yellow patch on the top pole with the center core of the marble being loaded with wispy white and then ribbons of yellow on the bottom pole.  Shows a few hits and a fracture, but what a kool marble.

Two hand carved wooden marble stands.  I do not know the type of wood, but each stand is made up of three pieces of wood that are intertwined to make one stand.  I believe they are carved from one piece as there is no way they could put them together if not.  Holds up to a 3" marble.  The stunning Ro Purser piece is for display purposes only and is not included in this auction.

Nice two color swirl from CAC showing multi toned red on a green base.  Marble shows a Turkey head on one side and shows a few small ticks and one small flake on a very wet surface.

Alternating lattice core showing yellow and orange alternating strands.  The lattice is more like a ribbon core as it is actually only 1/2 there.  There also appears to be one white strand, but I am not positive that it is not just pale yellow.  Marble shows some medium sized surface moons and some small ticks.  Most of the damage is limited to one side of the marble.

Unusually light pastel colored striped opaque from CAC.  Marble shows a pale pink and pale orange pattern on a white base.  This is a single seam variation that shows overall minor pinpricking and small tick marks over most of the surface.

Great looking Lemonade Corkscrew from Akro that shows a perfect yellow cork making it one time around the marble and then doing a complete reverse twist to form this wild pattern on the bottom.  Highly fluorescent and showing only one small tick.

Beautiful coloring in this marble.  Hints of yellow and white with large amounts of transparent red and green.  Great pattern on this marble that does show overall light wear in the way of rubbing, scratching small ticks and pinpricks.

Gorgeous onionskin lutz from John with great coloring.  His cane cut marbles are just wonderful pieces, especially for the size.  Marble is signed "JHM03"

Wonderful set of 4 deep orange base onyx corkscrews.  All four show the same bubble filled deep orange base glass with white spirals.  One marble shows an annealing fracture in the white and the other three show 1-3 minor and tiny ticks or pinpricks.  All came in the same group, so could be same run, but have no way to verify that.

Great original box from Alox Agates.  This is the "Tit-Tat-Toe Three in a row" marble game.  Comes complete with 11 marbles.  One flap on the inside is town off, but remains in the box.  Obviously come off in the box.  Marbles are in NM+ condition with one of the dark swirls have a large flat spot that was as made and the rest being fine.

one of the prettiest hybrid Popeye's I have ever seen.  It is very hard to find a hybrid with purple to begin with, but to have this much purple with the purple being on the surface as well as down the center o0f the core is unheard of.  This marble shows a few small hits and some pinpricking and rubbing.  This is a marble that many have admired, but few have seen before.  Simply gorgeous.
