Dennis "The Magic Man" Richardson lives on Altus Air Force base in Oklahoma
with his lovely wife, Nikki and their 5 children. In Oklahoma, Dennis has held
positions in Combat Readiness and Vehicle Operations as the base Fleet Manager.

Dennis has served his country proudly for the last 20+ years in such places as
Korea, Japan, Philippines, Guam and Suadi Arabia, during Desert Shield.

Dennis grew up around glass. You see his father and uncle were both avid collectors
as well as dealers of St. Clair and Fenton glass. So the glass orb has been in his
blood for some time.

In 1999, Dennis' father contacted him and gave him some information that would
change his life forever. Seems his father had purchased four contemporary art glass
marbles while attending a knive and gun show. His father had also sold those four
marbles before he could get out the door. He regretted doing so and was calling
Dennis to have him check out "that internet thing and find me some contemporary
marbles." His dad stated he would know them when he saw them.

So Dennis scoured the internet looking for glass orbs for his father. He was not
having much luck at all. He could find plenty of marbles, but all of the ones in his
fathers price range were already sold. Frustrated, but determined, Dennis searched
on. Eventually coming across a material supplier for art glass. It was then and there
that Dennis decided it was time to make some magic. He made the $800 investment
and was determined to make marbles for his dad.

Dennis had no formal training. He was on his own. With his equipment in hand, he
started working. And he continued working. After three months of hard work and
never giving up, Dennis made his first "round" marble. All those pounds of glass
rod had not gone to waste. He had won.....

In February of 2002, the Richardson family met with near tragedy. While working,
Dennis collapsed and had to be rushed to the hospital. The Doctors found a problem
with his heart that had caused a mini stroke. Mini stroke sounds much better than it
was. Dennis ended up with short-term memory issues, poor hand/eye coordination
and confusion.

So in steps his beautiful bride Nikki. Here this corageous woman takes care of their
five young children and now is taking care of Dennis as well. Not only is she playing
mother and father both but she is needed to take Dennis to San Antonio six times for
week long visits, take care of all of his Veterans Affairs meetings and day to day
business, but she is dealing with the near loss of her very young husband.

Nikki continued to nurse her husband back to health for a little over two months
before Dennis starting regaining the use of his hands, and his ability to concentrate
as well as his speech returned. Finally after all this time, Nikki was able to sit down
with her husband and watch him go back to making his marbles.

Dennis is retiring from his long military career. He and Nikki, along with their
beautiful five children will be heading to Ann Arbor Michigan in the next month or so
so that Nikki may finish her Medical School. Dennis is hoping to attend Michigan
States art program and pursue a masters in art.

Now to his marbles. From his basic swirls (nothing basic about them) to his very in
demand and brand new "Portal" marbles, every thing this guy makes turns to gold.
Between the health issues he is overcoming and the incredible art glass he makes,
Dennis truly is a "Magic Man." He has some of the most amazing color and pattern
schemes you will ever see. As you will be able to tell the first time you hold one of
his marbles in hand, this is true art. From the heart and soul of a man who simply
had to make his dad a marble.

Enjoy these fine, fine art glass marbles!!!!
